BTS Design d'Espace Toulon: Junk Playground
"Lors des bombardements allemand de la seconde guerre mondiale, Londres à été une des villes les plus détruite. On y trouvait fréquemment des espaces vide crée entre deux immeubles démolis et bourrés de gravats. Ces espaces vides, terrains vagues, en friche, "poubelles" en attente d'être reconstruit furent pendant une période des espaces de terrains de jeux consacré exclusivement aux enfants. L'idée était de donner un lieu spécifique pour que les enfants à la fois s'exprime librement, évite l'ennuie et l'inactivité qui peuvent conduire à la délinquance et participe à leurs façon à la période de reconstruction.
Ces terrains d'aventures, appelés Junk playground (terrains vague) ont été des espaces de libertés encadré ou les enfants construisirent à partir des gravats des "sculptures installation et autres inventions".
La fabrication par lui même (de l'enfant) de ses propres jeux par la maîtrise des outils (marteau, scie...) furent une expérience inédite et fondamentale dans l'approche citoyenne et pédagogique du rôle du jeu comme source d'épanouissement et d'éveil des consciences. La liberté quasi anarchique de ces terrains, laissant à l'enfant la responsabilité de ses actes, en étant acteur de sa propre aventures comme facteur de régénération pour une société pacifié, sans violence ou chacun peut s'exprimer et trouver sa place de citoyen. Cette expérience éphémère n'a pas survécu aux règles de sécurité, aux normes. Mais aussi aux formatages d'équipements modulaires produits en masse ou l'enfant n'est plus l'acteur (car exclu du processus de conception) mais simple utilisateur, spectateur, consommateur et non plus comme citoyen."

Digital History: Colonial Williamsburg Foundation
"Lisa Fischer is Director of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's Digital History Center (DHC). Located in the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library, the DHC was created to harness new technologies to help in engaging the public in the continuing conversation about the American Revolution, citizenship, and democracy. The DHC is currently working on a several complementary projects ranging from the creation of a new comprehensive website on the on the American Revolution to 'Virtual Williamsburg,' an initiative to create an interactive 3D model of the town as it looked in 1776 in collaboration with the University of Virginia's Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities (IATH)."

1970 reconstruction of Oskar Schlemmer's 1926 Triadisches Ballett
"Video de la reconstrucción del Ballet triádico hecha por Margarete Hastings en 1970. El video completo dura 32 minutos. Esta versión contó con la asesoría de Ludwig Grote y Xanti Schawinsky (alumnos de Schlemmer en la Bauhaus) y de Tut Schlemmer, la viuda de Oskar Schlemmer. La música es de Erich Ferstl. Está dividido en tres partes: amarillo, rosa y negro. Esta versión es una reconstrucción basada en la documentación sobre el ballet triàdico."

La ricotta di Pier Paolo Pasolini
"L'opera a cui sto facendo riferimento è La ricotta, un mediometraggio di Pier Paolo Pasolini datato 1963 ed inserito all'interno del film ad episodi Rogopag - Laviamoci il cervello.
La pellicola di Pasolini descrive alcune fasi della lavorazione di un film sulla passione di Cristo: ci troviamo dunque in ambito metacinematografico: un film in cui si parla di un film. "

Revisioning La Jetee as a series of video tableaux vivants
"An adaption and reconstruction of Chris Marker's La Jetee(1963) film. Its tells the story about a man who is marked by an image of his childhood in a post-nuclear war experiment on time travel."

[This revision of Chris Marker's masterpiece transposes the static black and white photographs of the original through a series of video tableaux vivants. In this way actors hold their position as they are photographed using live-action video. The resulting effect is both eerie and evocative.]
