PhoneGap: Adobe's mobile development framework

"Building applications for each device–iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile and more–requires different frameworks and languages. PhoneGap solves this by using standards–based web technologies to bridge web applications and mobile devices. Since PhoneGap apps are standards compliant, they're future–proofed to work with browsers as they evolve."

FlyKly: Kickstarter proposal for a Smart Wheel with app integration

"Smart Wheel is a pedal assist which means it helps you ride your bike effortlessly. The motor turns on when you start pedaling and begins accelerating to your desired speed. It stops when you stop. It saves you time by getting you to your destination faster and gets you there without losing your breath or breaking a sweat. ...

FlyKly App allows you to control and monitor the Smart Wheel. It also offers many other features like safety, support and social connectivity. It's available for free for iOS and Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and for the Pebble Watch."

Flightradar24.com: live air traffic tracker

"Flightradar24 is a flight tracking service that provides you with real–time info about thousands of aircraft around the world. ... [It] started as a hobby project in 2006 when two Swedish aviation geeks decided to build a network of ADS–B receivers in Northern and Central Europe. In 2009 we opened up the network, and made it possible for anyone with an ADS–B receiver to upload data to the network. Many parts of the world were quickly covered, but the quest to provide global ADS–B coverage is still ongoing. Hopefully with your support, we will get there."

Choose Your Own Adventure iPad App Retells Frankenstein

"Frankenstein, by Dave Morris, is a new kind of interactive novel, that places you right there, in Frankenstein's lab, by his side as he turns the winch and brings the spark of life to bear on his creation... Following and adapting Mary Shelley's original text, Frankenstein is a new reading experience designed from the ground up for mobile devices.

Yes. I succeeded in discovering the cause of generation and life. More than that: I am myself capable of bestowing animation upon lifeless matter. Here are my lodgings... Come up, and I will show you.

This unique literary app places you in conversation with Frankenstein himself as his story unfolds. He will be your guide, and you his advisor (sic). Console, counsel or condemn him: the choice is yours.

Written by best–selling author Dave Morris, designed and developed for iOS by inkle and published by award–winning publisher, Profile Books, Frankenstein is a whole new way of experiencing Mary Shelley's classic tale of terror, tragedy and revenge."
